About Just Desserts
Just Desserts bakes with care and attention in small batches, we create high quality handmade cakes from the finest light fluffy sponges to well established favourites such as Salted Caramel Brownies, Raspberry Frangipane and Peppermint Slices. We also offer Gluten free & Vegan cakes.
We never settle for second best when it comes to our ingredients. We use organic flour, freshly squeezed and zested fruit (and fresh vegetables in our carrot and courgette cakes). We freely use ground almonds and walnuts in our recipes, while our icings are naturally coloured wherever possible. We use butter in all of our flapjacks, brownies and traybakes - we do not compromise!
We believe that happy chickens make happy eggs, so that’s why we use free range eggs (which are supplied locally) - the best eggs make the best cakes.
We use locally produced jams to fill our Whortleberry Sponges but we make our lemon curds, buttercreams and other jams when we have seasonal fruit available from our kitchen garden.
