Delicious Ingredients

FOR DELICIOUS CAKES & DESSERTS

We never settle for second best with our ingredients, we use Doves Farm Organic Flour, Belcolade Dark & White Chocolate, West country Butter & Local Fruit & Vegetables. We squeeze and zest our fruit, make our lemon curds & buttercreams and freely use ground almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts & seeds in lots of our recipes, while our icings are naturally coloured wherever possible. We use West Country Butter in all of our flapjacks, brownies and traybakes - we do not compromise & are proud to make our hand baked cakes & strive for quality & taste.

We believe that happy chickens make happy eggs, so that’s why we use free range eggs (which are supplied locally – Fenton Farm eggs in Holcombe Rogus) - the best eggs make the best light fluffy cakes & sponges. Our Whortleberry & Strawberry Jam are delivered to us from Brendon Hill Preserves from Barnstable in Devon.  We try to buy local whenever possible to reduce food miles & boost our local economy.
